Dr. Thomas is a board-certified family nurse practitioner licensed in the state of Texas. After spending 10 years of her career providing care in America’s traditional health care system, Dr. Thomas learned that she could have a greater impact on lives by helping people achieve optimal health. She dedicated herself to studying functional medicine and became a Diplomat of the American Academy of Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine. Through this, she gained more extensive training in functional medicine aspects of health as they relate to the endocrine, digestive, cardiovascular, and other systems of the body. She has helped to improve the health of thousands for the last several years using these principles.

Dr. Thomas has extensive clinical experience in hormonal balance, digestive, and cardiovascular health in San Antonio. Dr. Thomas published an article titled “Quality Improvement Project for Managing Elevated Blood Pressure in a Concierge Care Setting” in which patients were able to achieve lower blood pressure readings without pharmaceutical management while participating in her study conducted while obtaining her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree with the University of the Incarnate Word in 2014. Because Dr. Thomas believes in providing care based on a holistic philosophy, she uses a comprehensive and compassionate approach to view all aspects of one’s mind, body, spirit, and environment to help achieve their lifestyle and health goals.
